I use mathematics to build things: models that reconstruct forgotten Indian classical music, machine learning that catches faults in spacecraft telemetry, and a programme that brings digital learning to rural government schools.

Most of my research asks what mathematics can recover, generate or explain about music, and lately, what it can tell us about materials and machines.
Grades 11–12 · with Carnegie Mellon University
Reconstructing outdated Indian classical music through mathematical modelling. As lead computational musicology researcher, I applied computational linguistics and machine-learning models to analyse ancient musical structures.
Grade 11
Probability, stochastic processes and Markov chains for algorithmic music generation, including first-order Markov pitch-class models that blend Carnatic ragas with Western chorale melodies.
Grades 11–12 · Wolfram Research
Computational research on materials science and auxetics, with a published computational essay analysing complex data patterns. Worked alongside STEM experts and Dr. Stephen Wolfram.

A student-led, data-driven rural education model that closes digital and arts learning gaps in government schools. Expansion targets 25 schools; recognised by State and Central government, featured in Outlook and Financial Express, and nominated for the Ashoka Young Changemaker award by Lok Sabha MP P.C. Mohan.

An explainable AI tutor for pitch accuracy and gamaka control in Carnatic vocal music, on the web and the Play Store. I optimised the ML models and deployed the platform in schools.
Conrad Challenge Semifinalist · Health & Nutrition
A compact, portable diagnostic kit combining ultrasound, bioimpedance, sEMG, electrochemical creatinine sensing and inertial sensors. It gives real-time muscle-atrophy scores and personalised exercise recommendations from AI models that adapt to biological differences.
Founder
An AI-powered mentorship platform giving budding entrepreneurs accessible guidance from established founders. Version 1.0 launched at my community's APR Entrepreneurship Hive.

Grade 11 · Centum Electronics
Mentored by CTO Dr. Vinod Chipalkatti. Engineered a hybrid ML system that detects latent spacecraft faults missed by standard monitoring and traces each to its root cause, using graph-based methods, PCA and anomaly detection. Received the CTO's highest endorsement.
Plaksha University
Worked on teleoperation devices and led a team of five presenting to the University's Chancellor, Dr. Shankar Sastry, former Dean of Engineering at UC Berkeley.
Abstract Math Institute
Designed and taught free AMC 8 classes for motivated students across India, and led a national maths circle using the Beast Academy curriculum.
United World Academy
Expanded Project Setu with students and faculty, led the Grade 11 visit to donate sports equipment to a local government school, and coordinated food stalls and sponsors for the MUN conference.

I write algorithmic music in code using Markov chains and other maths, and released an album on YouTube.
Hip-hop, psych-rock, indie and Carnatic music all get played here. The crate above is proof.
Every adavu I learn sits on a tala, a cycle of beats kept with the hands. This is Adi talam: eight beats, made of a laghu (a clap and three finger counts) and two drutams (a clap and a wave each). Dancers practise it in three speeds, each twice as fast as the last.
I hike wherever I travel.
